About me

My name is Rik Sprengers, I am 50 years old and was born in the southern part of the Netherlands. During my studies in Tourism in Maastricht and Tour Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences, I had the opportunity to work abroad several times. Those experiences required me to speak in front of groups of guests, from small gatherings to audiences as large as two thousand people. Each time, I focused on sharing my message as clearly and passionately as possible. Over time, I developed a true love for travel and presenting information.

After several years on the road as a Tour Manager in the United States and Europe, I joined Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, where I have worked as a Cruise Director for the past seventeen years. One of my main tasks on board is to inform guests through daily briefings and lectures. At times, I also need to deliver difficult news when river conditions are affected by high or low water. Altogether, I give around two hundred presentations and lectures each year.

Through these experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of public speaking, presentation techniques and communication in challenging situations. I enjoy sharing this knowledge and helping others grow as presenters. Together we will find your strengths and make them even stronger, and work on your weaknesses to limit their impact.

I have trained individuals and groups in delivering bad news and in improving their presentation skills. With my experience and practical tools, I can help you become the best presenter you can be.

All modules, workshops and coaching sessions are available in English, German and Dutch.
